Tintin Exhibition
The Singapore Philatelic Museum (SPM) celebrated one of the most beloved comic characters worldwide, the boy reporter Tintin through an onsite exhibition. Shown in this exhibition are stamps from SPM’s permanent collection. Also on display are a wide range of Tintin collectibles and rarely seen original stamp artworks on loan from the Museum Voor Communicatie in the Netherlands and L’Adresse Musée de La Poste in France.
As part of the exhibition, thatpaperchef contributed 2 papertole installations which comprise all 24 Tintin comic covers in paper tole form. The entire work took a period of 3 months to complete and the exhibition ran for 7 months.
